Carousel Caramels came to America from Turin, Italy in 1917 when the city's top confectioner left his well frequented shop, "La Giostra" (The Carousel), and his roots to begin a new dream. In Italy he was already famous for his caramels. So much so, that they were only made for the royalty in Turin, for special occasions. Bringing only his craft and his copper kettles to cook his caramel in, he and his family came to America.

In America, he founded his new shop, Carousel Candies. Sticking to his old world ideas of freshness, handmade quality, and the finest ingredients, his caramels soon became a favorite.

Today, Carousel Candies is as dedicated to the same ideas of quality ingredients and craftsmanship as they were back in 1917. And, we still cook our caramels in copper kettles, to assure the creamiest caramles available.

We hope you enjoy our special treats, and share them with someone you love.
